Lecture – Colonel James F. Charlesworth

Curtis Kyer, local historian and captain at Cumberland Trail Fire District, will present a talk on Colonel James F. Charlesworth, a prominent St. Clairsville resident and veteran of the Mexican-American War and Civil War. Charlesworth held multiple Belmont County positions and belonged to several fraternal organizations, including the Grand Army of the Republic. Kyer will focus on Col. Charlesworth’s role in organizing the local militia to defend against Morgan’s Raiders.
Track Rocks Field Trip

Back by popular demand, we’re heading back to Track Rocks! Ohio Department of Natural Resources Anthropologist John Boilegh will lead the tour. He will show and interpret the Native American stone carvings. We will meet at the museum and leave promptly at 10:00 AM for the site.

Learn to Brew Beer & Beer Tasting

Fall Festival

Join us for a spooky night under October skies! Events will include psychic readings, a guided walk through the Northern Cemetery, and a screening of the 1922 silent movie Nosferatu on our back lawn. Freshly popped popcorn, s’mores, candy, and beverages will be available for purchase.
Magic of Christmas Tours
November 1st – December 21st, 2025
Christmas returns to the Belmont County Victorian Mansion Museum. Regular hours will be on Fridays from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, and Saturdays & Sundays from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Private group tours are available with reservations.
